If your business sells into the commercial real estate industry, architecture firms can be some of your most valuable prospects. They specify materials, influence design decisions, and shape which products and services make it into a project. Biscred gives you the data to reach them: the asset classes each firm works across, its property count, estimated revenue, and the CRE contacts on file. To show what that looks like in practice, we took Architectural Record's ranking of the largest U.S. architecture firms and matched each one against our database (1):

How to Find Architecture Firms in Biscred
Because Biscred categorizes companies across multiple data points, firms can be ranked by the number of projects they've completed, their employee count, or the number of CRE contacts on file. Each view surfaces a different set of prospects.
Biscred’s database houses contact information for more than 664,000 companies and 5.7 million professionals working in commercial real estate.*

Here's how we built these lists. We started by setting Industries = Architect, which narrows the database to firms working in architecture.

From there, we layered on filters to rank those firms in different ways: company size by employee count, property count, and the number of contacts Biscred has on file for each firm. Each filter answers a different prospecting question. Company size points you toward the largest organizations. Property count signals how active a firm is across projects. Contact count tells you how many decision-makers and influencers you can reach inside each firm through Biscred.
Largest U.S. Architectural Firms by Size
We set Company Size = 10,000+ total employees. Firms listed may not have architecture as their primary service. Because all eight are estimated to employ more than 10,000 people, we present them alphabetically.
AECOM
Headquartered in Dallas, AECOM's services span a wide range of CRE-related industries beyond architecture: general contracting, environmental, design, engineering, development and more. AECOM's expertise reaches across asset classes too, checking boxes in 20 of Biscred's 24 CRE asset class designations, including multifamily, mixed use, office, healthcare, entertainment facilities, and government.
Burns & McDonnell
This construction, engineering and architecture firm is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. In the Biscred database, Burns & McDonnell lists experience in 16 of 24 CRE asset classes, including retail, education, hospitality, energy, industrial, healthcare, and mixed use.
Day & Zimmermann
Day & Zimmermann is a 100+ year-old company whose services include engineering and architecture, operations and management, staffing, and security for governments and corporations. They are headquartered in Philadelphia. Their asset classes are primarily government, industrial, and sustainable energy.
HDR
This Omaha, Nebraska-based engineering and architecture firm employs more than 14,000 people worldwide, according to the HDR About page (2). HDR operates in 19 of 24 Biscred-defined asset classes, including mixed use, government, industrial, healthcare, infrastructure and more.
Jacobs Solutions

The firm has asset experience in 11 of Biscred's CRE asset classes: aviation, education, healthcare, office, retail, entertainment facilities, infrastructure, energy, sustainable energy, railroad, and government.
Ramboll Group
When Ramboll Group acquired Henning Larsen in 2019, it added architecture, landscape architecture and urbanism to its already broad list of services. They specialize in healthcare, infrastructure, office, entertainment facilities, life sciences, energy, sustainable energy, aviation, railroad, industrial, government, data center, retail, mixed use, senior living, hospitality, and multifamily.
Stantec
Stantec is an engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting firm that employs approximately 34,000 people across 450 locations on six continents, according to the Stantec website. Their commercial asset classes include entertainment facilities, infrastructure, data center, energy, sustainable energy, railroad, multifamily, and land.
Largest Architectural Firms by Property Count
Biscred tracks a range of data points for each company, including property count, which is the estimated number of projects a firm has touched in some way. Many of these firms offer a range of services, so a high property count doesn't always mean the firm designed or engineered those buildings. What it does show is how much information Biscred holds on a single company. Here are the top 10 architecture firms by property count in Biscred's database:
Thornton Tomasetti: 90,000
Design, Consulting, Construction Management (DCCM): 50,000
Group-IPS: 25,000

Find the Right Architect & Engineering Firms Faster
Architecture firms are some of the most valuable prospects for any business selling into commercial real estate, and they can be sorted in more ways than a single ranking suggests. The same set of firms looks different depending on whether you sort by revenue, employee count, property count, or the number of CRE contacts on file. Each view points you toward a different set of opportunities.
That flexibility is what Biscred was built on. The prospecting platform helps you move from a broad category like architecture down to the specific decision-makers and influencers you want to reach, filtered by asset class, geography, company size, and more.
